The nature and pace of change seem to be completely different now. Even to protect or replicate what we already achieved, we need to be better than before.
Crisis & Safety driven technology domination, availability of more alternatives and changing consumer behaviour are going to give us different business and career challenges and experiences more often.
If already succeeded, let’s not allow ourselves to get trapped into the unconscious success arrogance. Even if you don’t want to grow further and wish to be in a career or business at the currently achieved level, you still need to be better than before.

The beliefs, habits and techniques that Marshall explained in his book are very relevant if you wish to see sustainable growth in business or career. So, continuous growth is a very challenging journey. At the same time, protecting the growth what you already achieved is also challenging in this highly competitive business environment. That’s why I said “What got you here won’t get you here again”.
